Black Heron, the world's only smoked Pisco, is a triple distillate aged in oak and produced by Pisquera Tulahuén in Chile. Five generations of the Camposano family have been making fine traditional Chilean Pisco in the little village of Tulahuén, at the foot of the Andes, for over 160 years. This Pisco is made exclusively using Muscat grapes from the Limarí Valley, Chile.
Black Heron is aged 2 to 6 years in toasted french oak barrels, producing a delectable harmony of fruit, wood, and smoke, with coffee and tobacco flavours from the barrel.
Del Parral Pisco Premium Quebranta is the creation of two families who joined forces in 2013 with the aim of taking Peruvian spirit production to the next level.
Pisco is a grape spirit from the region of the same name in southern Peru. Made from 100% Quebranta grapes, this distinctive pisco is produced in small batches utilising a distinct drip-to-drip method. This fruity pisco provides the palate with a burst of banana and mango, ultimately giving way to a ripeness of apple. Best enjoyed neat or with soda water.
Calvados is an apple brandy produced exclusively in the Normandy region. Located in the heart of the Pays d'Auge, the family-owned estate, Pierre Huet, has produced Calvados since the 1800's.
Allowed to age for 15 years in oak barrels provides for a deep fruit definition without the expected bitterness from the woodchips used in the distilling process. An intense aroma of pear and sweet apple influences the palate, accompanied by a hint of vanilla and a long finish.
Best enjoyed after a meal to stimulate digestion.
